The Northern Oklahoma Iris Society (NOIS) is an affiliate of the American Iris Society.  It is sponsored through Region 22 of the AIS.  Meetings are held at 7:00 pm. at the L. A. Cann Garden Center, 1500 East Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK  on the second Friday of February, March, April, June July September and October.   Membership in the society is open to all.

NOIS is dedicated to promoting the use of irises in the garden.  Our member gardeners use irises as a foundation of their gardens.  Irises are an ideal Northern Oklahoma perennial.  They thrive in the often harsh, dry Oklahoma climate.  The variety of cultivars provide almost continuous bloom from mid-March through June.

July 23rd:  Early Iris Sale —

Postponed to Sept 17th

Due to the current UNBEARABLE heat, the rhizome sale will September 17th.  At that time, it should be cooler and we should have other perennials to sell.
